Unique accommodations with the Cats magic, a differentiated design, very affordable prices and unbeatable locations with multiple leisure activities created to share local knowledge with our guests and ensure fun during their stay.
Jaime Herrero, COO of EXCEM Hospitality stated, ”Cats Hostels is proud to be a pioneer in the hostel sector and to evolve according to the needs of our guests. Innovation is part of our DNA, and we are working to bring the magic of Cats to the European market as well.” Herrero further summed up the scope and objectives of the new strategic plan that the company presented to over three hundred guests during the re-opening party of Cats Hostel Madrid Sol as “something the industry has never experienced in a unique environment, at very affordable prices and in the centre of the most interesting tourist cities.”
Content more than furnishings, designed by Oscar Mariné
The fresh, new image of the company was presented by the prestigious designer Oscar Mariné on March 21st at the re-opening party for the flagship Cats hostel. Following more than 15 years of successful business operations in Spain, Cats Hostels began it’s international expansion in 2018. The new image designed by Mariné will seek brand differentiation based on the authentic versus the thematic, focusing on content rather than on the furnishings. As a result, all the buildings to be opened in the future will bear the Cats seal, but will also contain specific local elements from each destination that will make it a unique refuge from which to explore the city.
Guests can enjoy Cats Hostels in more European cities
The next Cats chain property to experience the evolution will be Cats Hostel Porto, acquired in October 2018. The building, in the Porto city center, has more than 160 beds in rooms of various sizes and layouts, all with private bathrooms, a highly competitive differentiating factor in the sector.
